Melbourne has so much to offer. I love experiencing new places and events and sharing them with you.
I have an interest in gluten free, vegan and vegetarian diets so I will let you know if you these can be catered for in my reviews.

Eat Live Love Where?
Last week we visited the La Porchetta near the Victoria Market, after a hiatus of about ten years from any La Porchetta's although they are everywhere. We were reminded of how fresh the ingredients were, and how good the pizza was, perfect for a quick easy and reasonably priced meal.
A Melbourne institution, La Porchetta started in 1985 by Rocco Pantaleo and Felice Nania. They bought a rundown restaurant in Rathdown Street, Carlton and that, as they say, is history.
Nowadays – La Porchetta has over 70 stores across Australia and New Zealand, they do affordable Italian food; pizza, pasta, salads. You can take the family, it's easy and quick. It is licensed too. But certainly not a fine dining experience.
It was fun to remember visiting the one in Kew, in Carlton and so on and we found ourselves comparing them. I think I still like the original Carlton one the best. It has the history, and good service. The location is great because it is central, and you can team up your night with a movie at the Nova, or have drinks or gelati before or after.
