So we thought we would help parents of young children out by offering a selection of Brisbane's best kid friendly cafes and restaurants. I'm sure you will also have some recommendations to share as well, so feel free to leave a comment.

For an true family restaurant dining experience, head to Caravanserai, located in West End. This Turkish establishment featured in our Best Turkish Restaurants in Brisbane article and in addition to having a wide and varied main menu, they also offer a kids menu, which while minimal, can be personalised. Kids can choose from kid friendly dishes such as kofta, shish kebap and ispanak (spinach) borek.

For something less formal, but equally great, try Guzman y Gomez Mexican Taqueria in Fortitude Valley. This relatively new Mexican establishment is a great kid friendly restaurant with $5 kids packs. Kids can choose from the 'Little Guy' burrito, with mild chicken guerrero or beef buerrero, rice and cheddar cheese in a soft tortilla or the 'kids nachos', with GYG corn chips and cheddar cheese. This is sure to be a delight with children.

Our final suggestion has to be a pizza joint - kids love pizza. Il Forno Pizzeria is our pick for the kids. The bambini can choose from a mini margherita, hawaiian or ham and cheese and each dish is priced at $9. If the kids want something different - there is also a mini lasagna with salad, also priced at $9.

There are of course, many more great kid friendly cafes and restaurants in Brisbane, so if you know of a great place, please let us know about it by leaving a comment.

As always, we look forward to your feedback.
