Hi, my name is Chris, I'm a part time uni student and programmer. Let us share our knowledge of good things, hurrah!

I've been looking for the answer to this question for many years. I have travelled far and wide, visiting restaurants, food courts, cafes, bars and all manner of other places, looking for the perfect rendition.
Why iced chocolate?" you might ask, "isn't it just milk with ice cream, chocolate topping, and some whipped cream on top?" No, no it is not good reader; iced chocolate can and should be so much more.
Delicious chocolate milk, with a sweet ball of ice cream combining to create a unique sugary flavour that cannot be described. There is chocolate topping mixed in, but not that cheap stuff you buy from the supermarket, no this is something much greater. Imagine the best chocolate you've ever tasted melted down and turned into gooey syrup and you're about halfway there. Where can you buy something so wonderful? Well, that's the tricky part.
The best iced chocolate I've had was in a small cafe in Melbourne I can no longer remember the name of. That isn't much use to us Sydneysiders though, and unfortunately I haven't found anything that quite matches up here. I can however offer some locations where you can find decent, if not perfect examples of this tasty beverage.
Pancakes On The Rocks I quite like, and it certainly helps that iced chocolate goes well with pancakes to create a very healthy meal. Lindt Chocolate Café also offers reasonable quality in their creation, mainly because their chocolate is so good to begin with.
I also recommend trying out small cafes and restaurants as they often have surprisingly good versions, although just as often quite the opposite.
