Holy Basil. The fried ice cream is almost to die for. It is only the one ice cream in the thai restaurant, but I would go there just for the ice cream if I could. It is in Canley Heights and is a small but really busy restaurant. Often you'll have to wait in line for a while, and busy till 10pm.
This isn't the typical ice cream. It is an ice cream enclosed in some thin crispy philo pastry. It is topped up with some honey and crushed walnuts and maybe honeycomb. It is the combination of the crispy pastry and the sweetness from the vanilla ice cream and honey that just sends me to heaven.
If you ever are in the area, I highly recommend the restaurant.

Windsor Ice Creamery for sure! MASSIVE scoops (twice the size of a Wendy's scoop, for less $). Super obliging staff as well - they will let you choose two flavours on a single scoop ($3.90 from memory and again they are massive). Most importantly they use Norgen Vaz flavours, of which the Licorice flavour is to die for. The price includes a freshly made waffle cone and there are a significant number of flavours.
