Frozen yoghurt is perfect on warm days and cool days. It is not too sweet, but sweet enough. It's just as good as ice cream, except it's healthier! What could be better? I'm a reasonably enthusiastic froyo fan, and I've made my way around Adelaide to try the frozen yoghurt stores that we have. Below are my three favourites.

3- Tutti Frutti (Modbury)

Tutti Frutti in Tea Tree Plaza shopping centre is one of the best self-serve frozen yoghurt shops in the North. You simply grab a cup and choose your own flavours and toppings. You can keep it simple or mix and match. Once you've filled up your cup, it gets weighed at the counter. The pricing is $2.80 per 100grams.

The brand claims to have over 80 different frozen yoghurt flavours, however, they are rotated in the store so not all of them are always available. Tutti Frutti does always have some dessert-style flavours and some fruit-style flavours on offer.
2- FruizBerry (Glenelg)

FruizBerry on Jetty Road in Glenelg is a FroYo-lovers dream! So many flavours, so many toppings - it's overwhelming. FruizBerry is self-serve so you can pile up as much or as little as you like. The pricing is currently $2.70 for 100grams (Beware: this can add up very quickly without you noticing!)

Their yoghurt flavours include: wild berry, mango tart, peach tart, pineapple, coconut, strawberry, banana, green tea, french vanilla, cappuccino, caramel, dutch chocolate, lamington, new york cheesecake, original, and cookies and cream.

For toppings, there are over 45 to choose from, including berries, fruits, chocolate, nuts, syrups, sprinkles, cereal, lollies, biscuits, and so much more.

All of the yoghurt is 100% gluten free and of the highest quality premium frozen yoghurt. If you need to feel better about your huge cup of delicious yoghurt goodness, then be aware that FruizBerry yoghurts are 98% fat free. FruizBerry also does smoothies and sorbet.

The best part about FruizBerry in Glenelg is that you can go for a short 100m walk and enjoy your yumminess beachside!

1- The Yoghurt Shop (various locations)

The Yoghurt Shop is 100% South Australian made and owned - meaning they have to come first on this list! Because they use the most local and freshest produce, it means their frozen yoghurt simply tastes the best. Well, in fact, all of their products taste the best, including their: ordinary yoghurt, smoothies, sorbet, gelato, and dip selections.

The Yoghurt Shop's top-quality frozen yoghurt can be purchased in a number of different flavours, including banana, berry bliss, fruit tingle, mango, passionfruit, vanilla bean, and strawberry.

Another factor that makes the Yoghurt Shop a crowd favourite is their reasonable prices. For one generous scoop of froyo (either in a cup or a cone), you pay $4.50. Or, it's only $5.50 for two scoops. If you're stocking up for home, the Yoghurt Shop can also cater for you. One litre is only $13.90.

You can find a Yoghurt Shop in so many different locations across South Australia. Stores have been opened in Adelaide Central Markets, The Avenues, Colonnades, Glenelg, Marion, Marryatville, Mitcham, and West Lakes.

The creaminess and thickness of the products from the Yoghurt Shop is unbelievable. Every lick or bite sends your tastebuds on a journey like no other. I truly cannot recommend a better place to satisfy your froyo or regular yoghurt cravings.
