Local shopping centres are going all out these holidays with plenty of amazing free activities for the whole family. From skating to science and puppet shows, there is fun to be had. Here are four fun options; what does your local shopping centre offer?

Ice Skating at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre

Chill out at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre these holidays with its free ice skating rink.

WHEN: Sat 29 June - Sun 14 July
WHERE: Level 1, near Coles
SESSION TIMES: Every 15 minutes between 10am-4pm (Mon - Wed & Fri - Sun) 10am - 8pm (Thurs)
BOOKINGS: Online bookings have booked out although walk in sessions are available. Visit the rink between 10am-4pm (or 10am-8pm on Thursdays) and be allocated the next available timeslot on that day (subject to booking availability).

Street Science Chemistry Chaos at Fairfield Gardens

Watch spectacular colour changes, bright flames and chemical reactions. Be entertained and educated as you learn how chemical elements and compounds work together.

Roller Skating at Sunnybank Hills Shopping Town

Dig out your lycra and get your skates on for the pop-up roller skating disco rink at Sunnybank Hills Shopping Town. And the best news is that there is no age limit!

There are even special sessions including Tiny Tots, Disco Thursday, 80's Flashback Friday and Saturday Family Fun Day.

When: 1 to Saturday 13 July
Skate Sizes: Children's Size 9 to Adult Size 13
Time: 10am to 2pm daily
