Hook'd serves New Zealand hoki and chips for a mere $11. Add $1.50 for whiting. Barramundi or snapper are $6 extra. The seafood basket is satisfying for $16. Grilled barramundi or salmon with chips $22. Side dishes and sauces available, eg pineapple fritters with cinnamon. There's also chicken and burgers, but hoki is the big thing here and it's succulent. Hook'd is beside a park where you can dine at a picnic table. Picnic Point is only a few minutes drive away. Out of Town - The Fishbone at Highfields
The Fishbone, Central Plaza shopping centre. At present, it's the only source of fish and chips in Highfields. Great variety and presentation, healthy choice, delicious salads. Fish is from $6.90 - $12 (snapper and barra).
