Western Australians love their
dogs. We take them to the park, for walks and play games with them, and they happily follow us everywhere. Wouldn't it be nice to visit a café where your dog is welcome? Dog friendly cafes and restaurants are already commonplace in other parts of the world and now there are a few cafés in Perth where owner and furry friend can feel at home.
Burns Beach Café in the northern suburb of Burns Beach is a unique little gem. It has a Doggy Num Nums menu and apparently it is very popular. The special menu offers canine delights, iced water and K9 protein shakes.

Of course animal food and utensils are all kept separate from the 'people food' areas and everything is sanitary, clean and tidy. Usually the dog-friendly areas are carefully restricted and separate from the 'non-dog' dining areas as not all patrons are animal lovers.
It is also the responsibility of the owners to take care of the dogs, see that they don't fight or make a mess or bother other patrons and dogs.
These are just a few places that are happy for owners to bring their dogs along. If you know of others please let us know - Where's the Best Dog-Friendly Cafe in Perth?
