Melbourne hearts gourmet food; there is no doubt about it. So I thought it would be nice to list some great gourmet hotspots; starting off with quality delicatessens. Let's start with the obvious fine foods destination; The Queen Victoria Market Deli Hall. Some of the foodie highlights here include Pavilion Select Produce, a meat free delicatessen, with a huge range of locally produced and imported fine food. Here you will find everything you need to create a great antipasto; from a variety of cheeses to olives and marinated vegetables. Speaking of cheese, don't miss The French Shop; here you will find quality Roquefort and Camembert cheese. Finally there is Bill's Farm, a great place for all your meat and smallgoods, aswell as antipasto needs. Albert Park Deli is another Melbourne foodie hotspot; you will find all your find foods here; from olive oil, to cured meat, to locally baked breads.

Now I am guessing this is just the beginning of some great foodie destinations, so now it over to you; fill us in on great Melbourne gourmet foodie hotspots - let us know where you can get all those wonderful delicatessen goods in and around Melbourne.

We look forward to your feedback
