Cupcakes have a special way of captivating people. For some it's all about the cake, others just want a large dollop of frosting, and there are even people who don't eat cupcakes who still love having them around. Whether it's because of their teeny-tiny size, their connection with childhood birthday parties, or just the fact that they taste good, it seems people can't get enough. Cherry Seed counts itself as being Canberra's first cupcake store. They opened in 2007, and call a little cottage in Ginninderra village home. The cupcakes are more traditional flavours, but they feel like they're made with lots of love. As well as buying the cupcakes in store, you can also find them in their vintage caravan, I am Norma . The caravan is set up at various events and markets, filled to the brim with cupcakes and tea.

Coming along not too much later is Jazz Apple Cafe , you'll find them in the heart of Civic, just outside of Canberra Centre . The cupcakes in their display cabinets come to life with their bright colours and interesting flavours. These are some of the moistest cupcakes you'll come across, and they're incredibly easy to find.



Unfortunately Iced Out Cupcakes don't have a physical store, but their cupcakes are delivered all over Canberra. They cater for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and special occasions, but they're also good for those times when you just get a cupcake craving. The flavours available are almost endless, and chances are if you're looking for something in particular you'll be able to get it from Craig.
