I love the Dendy at Circular Quay. Arrive by boat, enjoy a glass of wine and an art house film, then come out to one of the greatest views in the world - the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge!

Alas, the IMAX has been knocked down now. I was transfixed one day in Darling Harbour to see a giant dinosaur metal crane structure that literally chomped the steel and cement of the walls to pieces.

I'd have to vote for Cremorne Orpheum.
