The range of boutique breweries and craft beer producers has boomed in Melbourne and towns nearby in the last few years. Many venues include a restaurant or dining hall serving delicious fried food and meals to complement your beer selections.
Collingwood
Stomping Ground Brewery is a popular brewery and dining hall at 100 Gipps Street in Collingwood.
The menu includes a range of small dishes such as oysters natural, black pepper spiced calamari, and grilled haloumi fingers. Mains cover the classic fish and chips, burgers, and steak, as well as a range of pizzas to complement the wide selection of beers. Stomping Ground also hold free brewery tours every Saturday and Sunday at 12 noon leaving from the bar in the Beer Hall. Click

Richmond

Woodend
Holgate Brewhouse is in Woodend at 79 High Street, and they have a hotel, restaurant and brewery. As well as beers on tap, Holgate have tasting paddles for sale, and a live music
schedule if you are up for some entertainment (they are open from noon to late each day). The
menu includes a huge burger, vegetable thai curry, and other delicious options for your enjoyable afternoon. A great review is

Red Hill

Red Hill Brewery[/LINK] is a boutique brewhouse that has operated on the Mornington Peninsula since 2005. You can sample the delightful range of Red Hill beers over lunch or dinner. The
menu is fairly basic at the moment and includes burgers, wings, and tater tots. Red Hill Brewery is open from Thursdays to Sundays from 11am to 7pm. They are located at 88 Shoreham Road in Red Hill South. The site also has a small house for
hire if you are planning a weekend away with friends.
Fingal
Another brewery on the Mornington Peninsula is
St Andrews Beach Brewery. at 160 Sandy Road in Fingal. The beer
selection includes ales, pilsners, and lagers. The kitchen serves a range of salads, pizzas and burgers to go with your beverage of choice. A review is

Yarra Glen
Hargreaves Hill Brewery is at 25 Bell Street in Yarra Glen, and serves up a range of
beers to meet all tastes. The cosy restaurant also has an extensive
menu including a beef burger on brioche, southern fried chicken, and other delicious options. Hargreaves Hill is open from 11.30am daily (until 3pm on Tuesdays, 4pm on Sundays, and 8pm every other day of the week).
