For all in the Gold Coast, there is an abundance of choice on where to eat a hearty breakfast. Therefore, where is the best place to eat breakfast on the Gold Coast?
For an indulgent, hearty breakfast of indulgence that you reckon you will be able to burn off, then Pancakes in Paradise in Surfers Paradise is a great option. Currently, Pancakes in Paradise have an all you can eat pancakes deal for just under $10. I had been here a while ago, and nothing has changed. The ambience is the same, and so are their buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup. Again, a great breakfast if you have a fun filled or fully productive day ahead.
Breakfast promo at Pancakes in Paradise. Their pancakes are delicious.
Otherwise, indulgence reigns supreme, and variety is the spice of life at Il Barocco Restaurant at Palazzo Versace on Main Beach. It is delightful to help yourself to a buffet breakfast (you do not even need to be a guest of the hotel to enjoy) that spells variety, and even has sushi and other Asian dishes on the menu.
You come to expect your cereals, however the yoghurt, fruit and salad varieties make way for a great start before tucking into the hot stuff. You cannot help but look at and also enjoy those pretty (yet awesome) danishes. The pastry is so soft and fluffy, and they are glazed just right, with a generous amount of fruit inside.
Choice reigns with the hot breakfast too. On the table (without needing to ask anyone) you can either select from the poached, scrambled or fried eggs for protein, or you enjoy all three egg varieties available. Other hot breakfast hits here include bacon, baked beans. French toast, pancakes, veal chipolatas, pork kranskys and sauteed mushrooms. Otherwise, you can ask for an eggs benny to be prepared for you, and on the self service hot breakfast bar, you can help yourself to as much hollandaise sauce as you would like. Eat well - you won't need lunch after breakfast here; maybe a light lunch at best.
for buffet's value for money, I would recommend Sharks Football Club on Olson Avenue Labrador or The Chateau on The Esplanade Surfers Paradise both have excellent range of hot foods, cereals, fruits, yogurt etc and will not cost you an arm and a leg, plus eating in a relaxed environment.
