Where's the Best Brazilian Restaurant in Brisbane?
Brazilian cuisine is wonderfully eclectic with both South American influences and European influences. Some of the classic hearty dishes include Tacacá, a much loved soup with shrimp and peppers, Caldeirada, a Portuguese fish stew, Sarapatel, a rich stew which is made with meat and offal, Galinhada, a stew with rice and chicken and Carne de sol, salted beef which can be served like a hamburger. Plus there are tasty fried snacks such as Coxinhas, Empanadas and Pastels and
Pizza in Brazil is also very popular.
Here at Weekend Notes, the Brisbane team have reviewed a handful of Brazilian establishments, including
Brazillian Touch .
Another great Brazilian establishment is
Mundo Churrasco , located in Paddington, where you can sample a range of classic Brazilian dishes, such as Feijoada, or try tapas dishes of Mandioca frita (Cassava chips), Coxinha de frango (Barbequed chicken drumettes) and Pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread). However to really enjoy Mundo Churrasco, choose from the Churrasco menu and dine on a selection of delicious grilled meats, including beef, lamb, chicken and pork, alongside white rice, Brazilian potato salad, tomato salsa, cassava chips, farofa and chips, and finish your meal with 'Delicias of Brazil' - a tasting plate of Brazilian sweets.
