Bagels are quite a simple food item. A ring shaped bread product that is firstly boiled and then baked, yet they taste so good. Bagels can be filled with any number of meats, salads and cheeses, or they can be eaten plain or with a spread topping.

The Great American Baking Company sells a range of authentic handmade breads and pastries including yummy bagels. They are available from the Kyilla Community Farmer's Markets on Saturdays, the Kalamunda Markets on Sundays and the Central Park Farmers Markets on Wednesdays.
The Holy Bagel Company, located in Canning Vale, make traditional New York style bagels, and you can find these beautiful bagels at a number of cafes around town and at the Victoria Park Farmers Market.

Fresh Provisions in Mount Lawley sell Kosher Bagels in bags of five. The bagels a dense and delicious They have quite a few flavours, such as poppy seed, sesame seed, fruit, and plain ones. My favourite are the ones topped with sesame seeds - I add avocado, spinach and an egg, topped with rock salt. A really tasty breakfast!
