Are you looking for a good Bacon & Egg Roll, while you're on your holiday in the Nelson Bay area? Every
breakfast cafe that you walk past will offer a version of it and they will all be tasty - but which one is the
best? My family and I have been living in the area for a few years now and over this time, we have tried a number of Bacon & Egg Rolls with a coffee, to wake ourselves up on a weekend. They may not be healthy, but they hit the spot every time!

one block back from the beach and it has two venues which both offer amazing Bacon & Egg Rolls! At one end of the shops is
Fingal Bay Cafe & Takeaway, which has Bacon & Egg Rolls, Brekkie Wraps, Brekkie Burgers & Bacon & Egg Turkish Melts - all for a good price between $8 - $11.50 (at the time of writing). On Sundays, they sometimes have a Bacon & Egg and coffee special. This venue makes a traditional Bacon & Egg Roll with soft white buns and plenty of bacon - it is a basic burger, but big on bacon!
A few doors down, check out
Cellar Cafe Fingal Bay, which has a delicious Bacon & Egg Roll, but the winner is the Big Breakfast Turkish Roll, with hash browns, two eggs and tasty tomato relish inside for $16. Check their breakfast opening times on
Facebook, as it changes seasonally. Both venues have tables, so you can eat in, or take it to the beach and enjoy them overlooking the blue waters of
Fingal Bay.

d'Albora Marina and they offer a delicious Double Bacon & Egg Roll with all the trimmings! It may not be as big as the rolls above, but it tastes delicious and sometimes come with a stick of pork crackling stuck in the top!
Crest Cafe and The Kiosk at
Birubi Beach offer a tasty Bacon & Egg Roll on a soft milk bun. My family and I often grab a takeaway from The Kiosk, with some cold drinks, and sit and overlook the stunning
Birubi Beach. This roll has plenty of delicious egg oozing out, so make sure you get plenty of napkins!
