It's handy to have a list of 24/7 eateries on hand because you never know when you will feel hungry, feel like indulging in a dessert or just feel like having a nibble while hanging out with a friend. So far, I only know of three places in Adelaide that are opened 24/7. If you know of any others, do share them with me.
My favourite at the moment is The Original Pancake Kitchen in the city. Located at Gilbert Place, it is within walking distance from Rundle Mall, University of South Australia and University of Adelaide. If you are not already in the city, it is easily accessible by car, tram, bus and train. Their light and fluffy pancakes form a core part of their menu which is available in both sweet and savoury varieties. Rather surprisingly the restaurant also offers a few non-pancake dishes as well.

Next on my list is Bakery on O'Connell, located on O'Connell Street in North Adelaide. This award-winning bakery and cafe is open 24 hours, 7 days a week, except during the Christmas holiday season. In 2017, it was closed from 25 to 29 December and opened for shorter hours on Christmas Eve and 30 December. It is within walking distance from Adelaide Oval and a few hospitals and student residential colleges. Bakery on O'Connell is the creator of the Cronut Cone, which consists of a crisp Cronut covered in cinnamon sugar filled with soft serve ice cream and drizzled with your choice of sauce.

Last but not least on my list is Cafe De Vili's, a favourite of many South Australians. Apart from their main cafe at Manchester Street in Mile End South, Cafe De Vili's also has a branch on Main North Road in Blair Athol. The café offers a wide range of Australian café-style foods, pastries, cakes and a few Asian style dishes. Their meat pies are one of the most well-known products from the café which can be ordered as part as a combo meal if you want something that is a bit more filling.
