Bert Hinkler Park is located in Windsor and it has an amazing set of equipment for the fun of little children, an electric BBQ and a picnic area for family entertainment.

The playground is well shaded by a giant old tree and several small trees. It is well designed and it has also a sunshade, which offers protection from the sun when the trees are too far away.

In the park, there is a hill and it is so much fun going to the top and then just running down at full speed.

There is also a trail which takes you to the Eildon Hill Reservoir. The trail is steep, it has loose stones, exposed rocks and it is very rugged. You must have appropriate footwear to walk the trail.

Along the trail, you see the pipe transporting water into the suburbs from the water reservoir.

Keep walking uphill and you see a wall with graffiti.

A set of stairs takes you up to the water reservoir.

View from the lookout on top of Eildon Hill Reservoir. On a clear day, Flinders Peak is visible and the Barney Group too.

If you haven't pack your picnic, descend from Eildon Hill Reservoir, return to Bert Hinkler Park and head to Wilston Village.
