Beautiful Park on the river with water play
We are frequent visitors to many parks throughout the year and Bernard Park in Northam is one of our favourites.

Hands down, the kids get most excited about the water playground. It's just a simple area with water that squirts up but it entertains them for ages. Bonus points because it is located right next to some seating that is undercover.

Bernard Park is right on the river in Northam so you may possibly catch a glimpse of the famous white swans. It is also located right next to the visitor's centre so if you haven't been to Northam before or are looking for places to visit it's all there for you to browse.

The other lovely thing about Bernard Park is the magnificent metal sculptures through the grounds.

The park has public toilets and is a short walk from the main street of Northam with all its shops and attractions. There is also ample parking and a lovely walk trail down the river and over the bridge.

It's a great spot for a picnic where the kids can stretch their legs and cool off.
