Be immersed with this tranquil “must see” attraction
Escape the city, forget the busy lifestyle, hit the road and admire one of the best natural attractions on the Sapphire Coast of New South Wales.

An absolute awe-inspiring view of The Blue Pool and the ocean backdrop...

The Blue Pool is located approximately 5 ½ hours south of Sydney and just a little over 3 hours from south east Canberra. It is indubitably worth the drive as you will be welcomed to one of the most spectacular and breathtaking natural swimming pools which is filled with many marine life to be discovered.

Explore the wonders of this award-winning Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor in 2015 natural attraction, with awe-inspiring views, lookouts and crystal clear salt-water natural swimming pool that is surrounded with views of the mighty Pacific Ocean; it is a paradise in the south!

The fury of the waves setting a dramatic view from The Blue Pool...

This 'must see' attraction is located off Pacific Drive at the base of spectacular dramatic rock cliff faces. The Blue Pool is a natural rock pool that is washed with clean clear ocean water making it a haven spot for swimming and snorkelling.

One of the many amazing views from The Blue Pool...

As you walk down the steps to the natural attraction, you cannot help but stop and admire the beauty surrounding The Blue Pool, with the ocean's fury crushing up against the pool, the different hued rock formations and views of mountains in the background sending a vibe of natural perfection!

The viewing platform offers magnificent coastal views and one of the perfect vantage points to witness the majestic whales during their migration.

One a clear day, you will be welcomed to a reflecting sapphire blue pool, hence the name and the clear waters make it perfect for spotting out the marine life that call this pool home.

A perfect picnic spot with breathtaking views...

At low tide, the pool is serenely tranquil with the seas usually calm and the winds still and it is the best time to enjoy a snorkel or swim. Always take care, as this is not a patrolled area and of course, being nature, there is no certainty of what is going to happen- so take care especially at high tide times.

The pool is safe for children and has been a favourite with the locals for many years and it is certainly my favourite too!

Be sure to add this on the bucket list and enjoy nature at its finest!

I've always wanted to visit Bermagui - no wonder it's called The Sapphire Coast, look at that colour! A road trip south is on the books now :)

I remember they had no signs in the 70's & 80's. after heavy seas they were fish inside the pool etc.

I went swimming there last year with my kids and a huge wave came over the rocks and washed my little girl away from me.. thank God she was wearing her floaties.. don't go too near the ocean side.
