Food for thought and for the belly
When travelling around in new places, it can sometimes be hard to find food that you want. There might be lots of different choices around but finding that one type of food that you crave can involve a lot of walking around.

Berlin, like most major cities, has a wide variety of options but when you can't make your mind up and don't feel like walking around, this is the perfect solution.

When in Berlin, take a trip to Germany's first international street food market that was started back in 2013 from an idea by Kavita Meelu, Anna Lai and Tobias Bürger and now operates every Thursday from 5 pm to 10 pm.

At the Berlin Night Markets, you will find street food from all around the world, with options for all tastes and diets. With snack-size portions available at most stalls, it's easy to have a dinner that is from all corners of the world. A wide range of beer and wine is available by the glass or the bottle.

There was a few small play area for younger children when we visit, but it didn't keep our kids amused for long as they were more interested in trying all the different food.

Some of the countries you'll find food from include:

Portugal
Korea
Nigeria
Mexico
Brazil
Peru
America
And many more

With dumplings, tacos, barbeque and pastries there are lots of different options

We found that the prices of some dishes were higher than elsewhere, but for the convenience and variety on offer, it was worth the extra cost.

Finding the place at night proved a bit tricky as street lighting is relatively dull and we didn't see any signs along the way, so had to follow the GPS on our phones till we found what looked like an entrance, so I would recommend you pre-plan your trip.
