The Berlin Marathon is back again. What started on 13 October 1974 with only 286 athletes is now a world-class event that attracts some of the best marathon runners and running enthusiasts.

The 26.2 mile course will take runners through 10 Berlin neighbourhoods and fascinating landmarks including the Siegessäule column, Berlin Cathedral, the State Opera House, Potsdamer Platz etc.

The race has a time limit of 6 hours and 15 minutes, so runners must finish within this time. To join the marathon, check out the website.
