Grab the mic, it's time to party
For my birthday, my best friends and hubby decided to take me out for a special dinner. Everyone knows karaoke and Filipinos go hand in hand, so it was no surprise when they brought me out for some karaoke! What was a surprise was the awesome restaurant that offered karaoke as well.
Ben's restaurant specialises in Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine. There were several banquet menus we could choose from and as there were about twelve of us we were super excited. The food was delicious; we decided to choose the 'stuck on you' banquet from the menu. Course after course followed and we were so full I was beginning to worry if we could sing after all that scrumptious food!
It's a great place for big groups of family and friends, with big round tables to accommodate everyone. Karaoke is available on Friday and Saturday nights from 9-11.30pm. Choose a song, and you get to showcase your singing talents (or lack thereof) much to the delight of your friends and other patrons of the restaurant. The place was absolutely packed when we went, so I'd definitely suggest making a reservation ahead of time.
Excuse the blur – only had my old mobile with me that night – but you can get the idea…it was packed!
We had a great night and lots of fun. If you're looking for something a bit different, or love karaoke (or someone close to you does) take them to Ben's. It was definitely a night to remember.
