Bring your furry friend along to this friendly cafe
Tucked back away from the hustle and bustle of Ipswich Road, in the Peter Baker Finch centre, you will find a large outdoor cafe called Bennies. It's owner, Taylor, is a twenty-something entrepreneur who treats your pets like clientele and serves every customer with a warm and graceful energy which you can't help but love.
I always have a soy chai and the options for lactose intolerant types is extensive. The food is simple but delicious and the staff are always happy to make a babycino or children's treat for your little one. A bowl of water and fake grass invites you to bring your pooch with you to languish on the deck while you dine.
This used to be the location of Annerley foodie stalwart GrEat Cafe which served traditional french fare with an Australian twist. After it closed, locals yearned for another local lunch spot and Bennies Cafe was just the right fit to quench your thirst or hunger whilst you shop everything the Annerley Junction shopping precinct has to offer.
There is no fuss and an ultimate relaxed vibe about this cafe which makes you feel like you are far away from the hubbub and noise just 100m from your seat.
