Bendigo On The Hop, will be held on the Saturday 26th of August, from 11am to 6pm. One of Australia's best craft beer festivals, it's spread over 10 venues, all within a 1km area though the historic main streets of beautiful Bendigo.
It celebrates some of the best independently owned Australian breweries with live music and local produce.
Bendigo Beer is a small but passionate group of locals who started up in 2011 and believe in better beer.
Bendigo Beer has helped promote a culture of preservative free, locally made craft beer which has seen the number of craft beer venues grow to over fifty in the last three years, in part due to the hard work and dedication from the team at
Bendigo Beer.

The very dedicated bunch at Bendigo Beer
The 2017 venues of the festival are Mr Beebes, The Exchange, Gallery Café, GPO, Handle Bar, The Hub, The Rifle Brigade Hotel, Rocks on Rosalind, The Castlemaine Beer Jeep at The Hub and The Farmers Arms at The Engine Room.
So how does the event work? Well, when purchasing your tickets, you will be required to select a starting venue. Your 20 sample tokens, souvenir glass and wristband will be waiting for you at your selected starting venue.

20 tastings
Once you collect your goodies, you are then free to proceed to any of the venues at your own pace. Your token lanyard will have 20 tasting tokens - one token per brewery.
Each venue will be hosting two breweries and each brewery will be bringing two beers. One beer will be a brew from their core range, the other a rare or unique beer. You will be able to choose between which of the two beers you would like to try with your sample token. If you would like to taste the other beer on offer, you can purchase a full pour in your special souvenir glass.
Tickets are $55 which includes booking fee, a souvenir glass from Craftd and 20 x 85ml taste token for all 20 breweries.
