The Bendigo Easter Festival will be held over the Easter weekend of 18-21 April 2025. It will transform Bendigo's beautiful Rosalind Park and surrounding streets into a vibrant precinct bursting with family-friendly entertainment. You'll find an extensive number of activities and attractions with something to suit everyone, no matter your age. There's the hunt for 85,000 Easter Eggs on Good Friday, the thrills of Carnival Central, treasures at Rotary Market, and live music to entertain you, including a park filled with hands-on activities and performances. For Vision Australia's East Egg Hunt, see here to book - do not miss out on one of the all-time favourite activities of the Bendigo Easter Festival. The hunt is organised for separate age groups, and the given link will give you all the details and the timeframes for the various age groups. If you can't make it to the hunt, the link will give you details on how to enter the Easter Egg Hunt Raffle. If you can make it in person, there's a chance you'll meet Vision Australia's Seeing Eye Dog puppies amidst all the Easter egg hunt action, along with their carers from whom you can find out more about puppy caring.

With a nod to Bendigo's Chinese heritage, the world's longest Imperial Dragon Dai Gum Loong will weave through the Sherridon Homes Gala Parade. Dance, drums, Lion teams and 100,000 crackers are all part of Awakening of the Dragon. As the sun sets on Easter Saturday, cheer on the convoy of illuminated floats in the La Trobe University Torchlight Procession, commemorating the service of Rod Fyffe OAM, and concluding with a spectacular firework display over the city. Do Note - the main festival precinct and activities will operate from Good Friday to Easter Sunday. Smaller community-run events will be held on Easter Monday at various locations within the City.
