Ben & Jerry's Openair Cinemas are back at South Beach Reserve, St Kilda, bringing music by day and movies by night, from Sunday November 30 until Sunday December 21.

Open nightly throughout the season, films will be shown on a 2K HD digital cinema system and colossal 12m by 6m screen. Complete with Klipsch superior sound and the latest in professional audio technology, moviegoers can look forward to enjoying an alfresco cinema experience like no other.

Bring your own picnic and blanket, hire a deck chair, bean lounger and blankets, or for a little more luxury, opt for a Volkswagen Polo Class ticket, which includes reserved premium seating with a blanket and cushion, a drink, and a Ben & Jerry's shorty.

Films on offer include an assortment of the latest and greatest new releases, such as "Gone Girl" and "Interstellar" , cult classics including "Jaws" and family favourites to sing-along to including "Grease" and "Frozen" . Check out Openair Cinemas for the full daily listing.
Supporting the stellar movie line up are some top local musical acts to see you grooving until sundown. Soli Tesema of The Voice Australia 2014 fame and LA based alternative rock wunderkind JR Reyne are but a few of the many talented musicians that are set to bring their own flavour to the Openair Cinema crowds.

Feeling thirsty or need a snack? Grab a drink from the fully licensed bar stocked with a wide selection of beverages, a bite from Ladro Pizza offering a delicious range of signature salads and wood-fired pizzas, and a happy ending with [LINK=LINK Ben & Jerry's legen-dairy ice cream flavours][/LINK].

On Sundays, enjoy unlimited free Ben & Jerry's ice cream at Sundae Session, join the fun in a host of lawn games including Putt Putt, Pick-a-Pat and Giant Cow Jenga, dance away to live music, and then chill out to an Openair cinema classic.

Gates open 6.30pm Monday to Friday, 6pm Saturday and 5pm Sunday.

This season has a limited capacity, so book ahead to secure your tickets at openaircinemas.com.au . Tickets at the gate start from $24 ($20 concession), for General Admission to the Lawn, and from $19 ($15 concession) online.

All proceeds from ticket sales go to WWF-Australia's efforts to protect the Great Barrier Reef.
