With the government's decision, loving couples, whatever their gender, are now free to marry! It's a history-making decision on an issue that has divided our nation for far too long, and we couldn't be happier for our friends and family in the LGBTIQ community.'
And they want you to join them in celebrating with a free ice cream cone!
So this Monday, 11 December between 5:30pm and 9:30pm drop in for a Free Scoop Night! This is a four-hour window of opportunity and if you are out on a hot night, having a walk, this would be the perfect treat.
This offer is across all their stores except as Movie World where the park is closed at the time. Other than that, this celebratory freebie is across seven stores in New South Wales, five in Victoria, four in Western Australian, one in South Australian and two in the ACT.
They also want you to know that they "
have officially lifted the ban, so you can once again get two scoops of the same flavour."
For this to make sense you need to know that when the fight for marriage equality started they instituted a same-flavour ban across their stores.

In order to show the inanity of our society refusing to allow same-sex couples to marry, they refused to put two scoops of the same ice cream on a single cone until the LGBTQI community were given the same rights as everyone else.
Now that the plebiscite has been passed and 61.6 percent of Australians voted yes, the ban has been lifted.
