Life is more than a box of chocolates
Everyone knows Belle Fleur is renowned for delicious handmade chocolates - the perfect finale for any dinner party. A lesser know secret is their works of art, the specialty chocolates.
Invited to a morning tea? Consider bringing one of these:
Someone just made the team? Need a thank you to the coach?
Know someone just had a baby? Why not give the parents a little treat too?
The piece de resistance is a huge replica of Balmain Town Hall plus a train station. The work in this display is extraordinary, and worth a visit just to see the intricate detail for yourself.
However, if you visit it's almost impossible to not leave with something. The smell is enticing, so be warned. I became the most popular mum on the street when I arrived home with these chocolate tea spoons, a mere $1.95. We mixed them in warm milk for a fancy hot chocolate....Unfortunately, now I'm being nagged to get them again. Good thing the kids haven't seen what other goodies Belle Fleur makes.
