Italian Cuisine right in the heart of Kadina
Bellagio's in Kadina is a great spot to go for a delicious meal after a fun day out exploring the Copper Triangle. With a focus on Italian cuisine, the menu also includes Modern Australian dishes and vegetarian options ensuring there is something to suit a range of tastes.
Half doz Kilpatrick Oysters - perfecto!
Inside the decor is inspired by classical Italian art and architecture. Eye catching prints and decorative venetian masks lend a unique atmosphere - a taste of Italy nestled in the country town feel of Kadina. Their locally sourced oysters are freshly shucked and taste devine - as you would expect dining along the Yorke Peninsula!
Garlic pizza entree
Can we just throw it out there - their garlic pizza is AMAZING! Served spectacularly hot and fresh, the flavour combination of the garlic and Parmesan cheese melted in your mouth without overloading on the garlic or oil. The Arancini balls on the other hand, while sounding amazing on paper, were a bit of a let down for us. Presented lovely, and nice and crunchy on the outside, the inside left little to be desired; they were very dry, with not enough cheesy goodness to balance the heavy chorizo and crisp outer layer.
Penne Pollo Bianco
Bellagio's pasta options were hard to choose between, but we finally decided on the Penne Pollo Bianco. What a good choice this was! We highly recommend this one, it's balance of creamy white wine sauce meets basil and sundried tomato tang that gets your tastebuds going!
As we mentioned, vegetarian options are also available for pizza, pasta and main options. We had two tasters with us who thought their meals were full of flavour, and were impressed with the serving sizes for the price. A main pizza could easily be shared amongst two, with the accompaniment of the garlic pizza entree of course!
If you're simply driving through, just holidaying in the Copper Triangle or even just a local - ensure you stop in at Kadina and make your way over to Bellagio's. Bring the kids, bring the whole family. You won't be disappointed.
We give Bellagio's Ristorante Italiano 4/5 Wanders.
Where 1 Wander isn't worth getting off the couch for and 5 Wanders should leave a trail of dust in your wake: it's that good.
