Award winning Sydney based photographer Christine Bernasconi is proudly presenting her latest exhibition, entitled 'Bella Italia', in the unique venue of the Belli Bar Cafe in Leichhardt this May.
This photography exhibition, which is being held as part of the popular annual Head On Photo Festival, will open on Saturday, May 11th, 2013 and will run until Sunday, June 23rd, 2013.
As the name of the exhibition suggests, 'Bella Italia' captures the true beauty of the Italian landscape and its people.
Designed to be a 'photographic sojourn through Italy', this exhibition will feature exquisite shots of picturesque countrysides and historical monuments and also depict the traditional customs and culture of Italy.
A passionate photographer, Christine chose Italy as her exhibition subject as she has a great appreciation of Italy and its rich culture and history. Having visited Italy multiple times in recent years, Christine notes "I love Italy, and will never forget how it makes me feel."
If you share Christine's admiration for all things Italian, this exhibition will certainly be of interest to you. It is an intimate and fascinating exploration of a land which was once considered to be the cultural centre of the Western world and offers a unique insight into the modern Italian lifestyle.
Hi,whilst I appreciate your enthusiasm. Upon reading this we upped and went with enthusiasm to see this photo exhibition! there are perhaps a dozen photos in a coffee shop. As I live in Castle hill it is far to go for only a few photos!
not as exciting as I thought it would be, if you are in the area maybe just go look otherwise there are a lot nicer things to see.
I wanted so much more as I had only just a few months ago come back from Italy....
