A great idea for a romantic and out-of-the-ordinary date idea is dinner at the Belgian Beer Cafe Bluestone and a driving (or even walking) "tour" down St Georges' Road in Toorak. As crazy as this sounds, the monstrously gorgeous houses owned by the various CEOs and business titans look fantastically gorgeous at night all lit up.

It gives you both an opportunity to escape the student budget lifestyle you're forced to encounter day after day, and gives you new goals for the future. While granted, this isn't the most conventional date night idea, it's one that is memorable, romantic and most enjoyable.

The Belgian Beer Cafe Bluestone is located on busy St Kilda Road. This rather unique dining experience sports a dining menu where everything has beer as one of the ingredients. Just beware, it is possible to get at least slightly tipsy from some of the dishes. Furthermore, their list of beers on tap as well as other alcohols makes the entire evening a step into the beer environment. The restaurant provides both indoor and outdoor dining.

The ambiance of the cafe is all dark wood, with dim lighting and a stone floor, making it very atmospheric. The service is prompt and pleasant, and the waitstaff are happy and helpful. Prices vary depending on dishes, as well as which menu you're ordering from. However, it's safe to say that a meal for two will set you back about $60. But rest assured, it's well worth the price.
