Learn how to read Tarot cards
Have you ever had your Tarot cards read? Does this study of cards hold any interest to you? The actual origins of Tarot cards are full of myths and mysteries. The word Tarot is believed to be derived from the Italian word tarocchi, which has no known source. There are, however, many theories regarding its origin.

Modern Tarot decks contain 78 cards which fall into two sections, the Major and Minor Arcana. The 56 Minor Arcana, or pips, are then divided into four suits of fourteen cards each. These cards are numbered one (Ace) to ten. It is a very complicated system and one that is rather fascinating!

Now you can learn about these magical cards in a 3-hour workshop with Moon Yoga Nico. Here you will learn the fundamental basics of reading the Tarot.

During this Tarot workshop, participants will learn a brief history of divination and how to choose a deck, handle a deck, "read energy, connect to the higher self as well as how to read the cards."

You will then practice Tarot readings in pairs and also talk about the symbols, astrology and numerology associated with the cards.

It will be held on Monday 4th March 2019, from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm at 195 Argyle Street, Fitzroy. The cost will be $75 and you can book and read about this event at this website.

Included in the cost of this workshop is a traditional Rider Waite Tarot deck and a booklet written by Moon Yoga Nico with some good tips and tricks to read the Tarot cards.
