Shambhala Sydney is hosting a Beginners Meditation weekend on November 3 & 4 2018. Presented by Margaret Hughes, a teacher from Northern Rivers in the Shambhala tradition, this two-day course is suitable for all skill levels and no previous experience is required.
It is recommended for new and experienced meditators, as well as those looking to enrich their personal spiritual path and social action in the world.
This program includes thorough meditation instruction, periods of meditation practice, one-on-one meetings to clarify questions, talks by senior teachers, group discussions and a concluding reception.
Shambhala Training is suitable for anyone interested in exploring meditation as a means to develop fearlessness, confidence, openness, and gentleness toward ourselves and our world.
Each program involves the study and practice of Shambhala warriorship: a path of nonaggression born from the willingness to meet our world without bias or judgment. This path shows us how to take the challenges of everyday life as opportunities for both contemplative practice and social action.
The Art of Being Human will take place at Inner West Cultural Services, 35 Dickson St, Newtown (near St Peters or Newtown stations) on Saturday 3 November, 9am to 5pm and Sunday 4 November 9am to 3pm.
Bookings are essential and the fee is $195 Regular Price, $160 Concession Price and $50 Repeats Price.
