The art of crochet has experienced another surge in popularity along with all things handmade and vintage. I overheard two teens chatting: "Apparently you can make your own clothes. There is something called crochet..." Maybe these girls don't have crafty nannas to teach them. They should join in for this introduction to the relaxing past-time, taught by a local working professional. It is said that even Queen Victoria was an avid fan of the therapeutic value of crocheting.

Once you have finished creating, you can explore the current exhibitions throughout the Museum of Brisbane.
