Beetroot Stories is just off Ratchadamaoen Road, in the little shopping precinct with Wawee Coffee on the corner. They offer vegetarian food in a cute setting with art on the walls and an open kitchen.

I had a Green curry and it was great, spicy, with lots of vegetables and served with rice. My friend, who is vegan, had a mixed vegetable and fruit salad which was a struggle to get through.

It was a big plate of raw looking food and her reaction at the end was "Thank God that's over" Not really the sort of reaction you want to have from your food but maybe it would be OK to share with something else. It was certainly healthy.



There are better vegetarian options in town but this is a cute little place and certainly worth a try. Be aware the service is a little slow but then, this is Thailand.
