It's nothing unusual for Beers for Queers to hold their monthly Beers for Queers Events at The Fox Hotel, 351 Wellington St, Collingwood. However, this month they're getting spooky for Halloween on Saturday 26 October 2024 from 5pm to 1am the next morning. Free to attend, they want you to come dressed in your gayest, ghouliest finest, and have a chance of winning a prize! They'll be featuring the raddest queer markets, DJs and performers from the afternoon til late. Enjoy performances by Moxie Delite, Azcadelia and Alessa Evil, and DJs Hip Hop Hoe and Katie Asteroid. There's also a Gay Stuff Market Pop Up from 5pm - late upstairs.

The Fox Kitchen is open from 1-9.30pm, and you're encouraged to book a table even though it's not necessary, because of the sheer volume of people that may turn up, and you'd be wanting a table to enjoy your delish pub meals with vegan and GF options comfortably. It might interest you to know that The Fox and Beers for Queers are owned and run by queer women and they aim to centre people whose voices aren't amplified in other spaces. There's a zero-tolerance policy for bigotry of any kind, and they watch out for their customers and strive to do everything in their power to make sure everyone feels welcome.
