First off, I'll confirm that you have read the title correctly; likely the only time you'll see the words beer and bubs put together as an event theme, but bear with me, as this is a great innovative concept, and one that will have Dads-to-be particularly excited.



Beer and Bubs is a new concept of antenatal classes soley designed for soon to be Dads. The idea behind Beer and Bubs is that men can come along for a 'one stop shop' session where they'll find out all they need to know to better support their partner through the birth of their child. The program addresses practical components of child birth including aspects such as:


Helpfully the class also covers the areas of what not to say during childbirth and common trouble spots to avoid.

This is a class ideally suited to first time dads, with or without some antenatal experience. Some dads might not like the idea of going to a typical antenatal class with lots of other couples, but by missing out on such classes they might not feel equipped to support their partner when the time comes for the baby to arrive. This is where Beer and Bubs is so useful, because dads to be are able to meet in a relaxed environment (the pub) and meet other like minded men. Better still, during the class they'll also get to meet a Dad who has recently supported their partner through childbirth; so someone that they can ask real questions to and get real, honest answers from.

Cost
