Beeliar Community Voice is planning a Christmas Party for the local community called Festive Beats & Eats. Entry to the event will be FREE.
The festival will have an Act-Belong-Commit message and will have a strong focus on mental health. It is scheduled to be held on the Beeliar Reserve on December 7 2018 from 5pm to 9.30pm. It is being proudly supported by the City of Cockburn, the Government of Western Australia, Lotterywest, Healthway, Scoop Property, Act-Belong-Commit and Beeliar Gardens.
There will be a lot of festive cheer to be had at Festive Beats & Eats. The event will feature an amazing line up of entertainment. The fun will kick off at 5pm with a Christmas concert put on by kids from South Coogee Primary School and Beeliar Primary School. The students from Beeliar will also be putting on a flash mob dance.
This will be followed by a special performance from the Koondarm Choir. The Koondarm Choir is made up of a group of young adults who use music to embrace and understand Aboriginal culture. Local band Skip The Beat will also be there singing covers of classic songs and music will be provided on the night by DJ Doughboy.
There will be food trucks there on the night. You will be stuck for choice with options like E&J Soft Serve, Ranco Sombrero, Toby Baby Cake, Cili Padi catering, Excuse My French, The Habibs, Standing Fork, Hamborghini, Kafe a go and go and Up in Smoke available to you. A selection of local businesses will also be staying open late and joining in the party as well.
Beeliar Community Voice will be holding a raffle and a glow stall. There will also be a photo booth and free activities for the kids like face painting, a climbing wall, bungee trampolines and Santa's grotto.
Why? Festive Beats & Beats will be a community event held at the Beeliar Reserve on December 7 2018. There will be a Christmas concert performed by local school kids, food trucks, live entertainment, kidsí activities and Santa.
