A colourful celebration of beer, food and music this years event will include traditional outfits, cuisine and an Oom Pah Pah band along with the breweries very own Marzen, a special Oktoberfest beer more than two months in the making and allowed to age sufficiently to produce a smooth, malty lager ideal for the occasion.
Oktoberfest is an instantly recognisable and unique facet of Bavarian culture, originally staged as a royal wedding celebration in the early 19th Century.
Today the Munich Oktoberfest has evolved into the world's largest folk festival although it is undoubtedly best known for the serving and drinking of huge volumes of beer and the raucous singing of German drinking songs.

Bridge Road Brewers founders Ben Kraus and Maria Frischmann reckon their event is probably as close as you'll ever get to the real thing without leaving Oz. A fact supported by the sell-out number of visitors attending each year.
Ticket prices start at $23 with each ticket holder receiving a beer stein (either half or full litre capacity), a food voucher and a beer voucher for your first fill.
These tickets will sell fast so check the website www.bridgeroadbrewers.com.au for full details on availability and pricing. Group booking for groups of 8 or more are available.
