The Lemon Curd Tart is a staple of Becasse Bakery. It delivered on the expected flavour, taste and scent of lemon in soft curd resting in a dish of lightly sweet short crust pastry.
It certainly did not disappoint but did not stand out in taste or texture compared to equally well made versions available at other bakeries and patisseries. A nicely made desert out of the kitchen at $4.90 that makes for great palate cleanser or lemon zing pick-me-up.
