Support your shopping habit and local arts at the same time
If you are looking for a great way to spend a Sunday morning and are in the market for some local art to style your home, then why not try the Beaufort Street Art Market?

Held on the the first Sunday of every month the Beaufort Street Network presents the only market dedicated to the arts, running since September 2014.

The market is located in the Barlee Street Carpark and has 34 stalls as well as trestle table spots and a special 'Suitcase' section teeming with interesting works by established and emerging local Artists and Artisans.

The event boasts new items on show each month and offers a wide variety of products for sale including original art pieces, sculptures, photos, jewellery, pottery, glassware and one off items all created locally.

If you think you might be better off selling than buying, organisers are always on the look-out for new artists to join the market and exhibit their goods. Make sure to follow the links and get in touch.

Make a whole morning of it and grab breakfast at one of the many great spots in the area and head over to the Art Market to support the arts on a local level. Its a real win-win!
