useful head covering or wearable art - you decide
In a colourful display of beanies and berets as a traditional fashion statement for the introverts among us or as a flamboyant celebration of wearable art for the extrovert, the Port Noarlunga Arts Centre presents an exhibition that will challenge you to decide which you are.
beanies and berets galore
The lovingly handcrafted and stylish to wear beanies and berets from 16 Fleurieu Peninsula textile artists and crafters are on display from 23rd June to the 29th July.
The Onkaparinga Gallery, on 22 Gawler Street, is brimming with over 300 beanies and berets in this exhibition (really, no pun intended). Featuring a range of styles that are playful, bizarre, colourful to traditional, including homespun, woven, crochet, knitted, cable, and intricate Fair Isle - there are no two beanies exactly alike. You are sure to find something to keep the winter winds at bay or for the perfect Father's Day gift. Perhaps there may be a bespoke design in your favourite footy colours.
All hats are for sale in a range of prices $15.00 - $90.00 with EFTPOS available for your convenience.
