Bean and Gone Espresso Bar is a new and very welcome addition to The Gap's coffee scene and is well worth a visit. Melbourne-like in its appearance, it is bright and colourful and has certainly transformed this spot on the corner of Waterworks Road and Illowra Street. Bean and Gone is impossible to miss, largely due to the amazing graffiti mural by Travis Vinson (Drapl) of Graffiti Murals.

Located next door to the Friendly Grocer and with a car park right on the doorstep, dropping in for a coffee or a bite to eat is quick and easy. Piazza Doro coffee is served here and you'll also find a range of cakes, slices, tarts and savoury muffins with gluten free options available. Owner (Ben Waugh) said, "We have bagels, frittata and focaccia coming soon, along with other lunch options."

Beginning this week, Bean and Gone will be staying open later on Fridays to run Coffee and Cake afternoons for all those deserving school Mums in the area. Cheese platters will be added to the Friday afternoon options shortly.
If you're feeling like a change from coffee, word's out that the hot chocolate at Bean and Gone is decadently delicious. Made with real chocolate and topped with marshmallows, how could you go wrong? It's the perfect treat, especially enjoyed with one of the tempting options from the cake cabinet!
