In terms of market venues, there can be nothing better than a twilight summer market on one of Adelaide's most scenic and accessible beach fronts. Setting suns, cooling breezes and the bubble of activity associated with kids swimming and playing on the beach, and parents walking their dogs along the beach make this an idyllic setting for the s.
For three fantastic Friday nights over Summer, Angus Neill Reserve at Seacliff is to become the centrepiece of activity with the third season of this popular market encompassing great food, kids activities, live entertainment and showcasing unique, high quality boutique handmade products.
Lollipop Markets in conjunction with the City of Holdfast Bay will be hosting the beach front twilight markets from 530pm until 830pm. The markets will be held on 9th December, 13th January and 10th February with free entry for everyone.
Angus Neill Reserve is a popular reserve and park in Seacliff complete with recently renovated toilet facilities and a large shaded playground for kids to play on, including swings, slippery dip and a wobbly bridge. There is also a small grassy hill and a set of wide stairs which kids love to roll down and climb up. With a complete grassed area, the park makes for a very pleasant spot to have a twilight picnic while enjoying the market atmosphere.
So if you are stuck for something to do on a Friday night, or are looking to cool off by the foreshore in style, then why not head down to Angus Neill Reserve and enjoy a twilight market, some food and some live entertainment. Angus Neill Reserve is located at 197 Esplanade at Seacliff.
