Home > Sydney > Sport
Published October 27th 2009
Meet people, get a good work-out and have fun in the sun while playing beach volleyball in Sydney's beaches.

Beach volleyball is a kind of volleyball that is played on sand. Two teams attempt to score by grounding a volleyball on the opposing team's court on the other side of a high net.

Beach volleyball teams can be made up of anywhere from two to six players. But competitive beach volleyball teams are usually made up of only two players.

Beach volleyball courts are set up at beaches all over Sydney including Bondi Beach, Manly Beach and Coogee Beach.

Beach volleyball lessons for beginners are available at Manly and Maroubra Beaches at a price of 25 AuD per person.
