1. Exercise
Whether it be weight training, aerobics, swimming, biking, walking or yoga, just 30 minutes a day will do wonders for your mind and body. Community centres such as Melbourne City Baths, health clubs, and Universities, offer affordable membership deals with many class choices.

2. You are what you eat
Fresh fruit and vegetables are always a great energy boosting way to feel great about yourself. Wandering around markets of Melbourne will give you exercise, and your mind will be content with entertaining and educational conversations with local vendors while you shop around for quality produce. If that's too healthy for you, have a piece of high quality dark chocolate.

3. Pamper
Book in for a massage, relax with a bubble bath, get a mani/pedi, buy yourself flowers, take yourself out to dinner and a show. Sites such as Groupon and Living Social provide discounted deals for dinner, pamper packages and more in and around the city. If your surroundings are colourful and bright, you will feel the same!

4. Volunteer
Feel great by donating your time to charity organisations, visit an aged care home and play a game of cards with a resident, share your skills by giving a class or two at the University of the Third Age, and more. Volunteering is rewarding, entertaining and challenging experience that will have you feeling positive and feeling great!

5. Sleep
Depending on age, health and individual needs, everyone has a different amount of sleep required, but to improve your health and concentration aim for at least seven hours a night. Sweet dreams!
