Prawns and seafood, sausages and turkey, mince pies and glasses of bubbly all await and are ready to settle happily just below our waist line, sadly for the muffin which is otherwise quite lovely, on what we now call the muffin top. It's particularly hard for those of us that have reached a certain age to keep the calories down. So how about a cycle ride just before Xmas to keep those trim proportions where they should be ? Note: This is an easy to medium paced 20km ride following the bikeway from Finsbury Park across Enoggera Creek and past Victoria Park through the bike and pedestrian tunnel to Roma Street parklands and return. There will be the option to extend this ride by following the Creek West.
