If you are like me and want to try everything (food wise anyway) at least once in your lifetime, then Bazu Chinese Restaurant is where you want to be. Now, I draw the line at white ant eggs and all things insects (which you won't find here), but the 'must try' of this restaurant is the Chicken Feet in black bean sauce.
If you think it's just chicken, you are in for a surprise. It is succulent, delicious and tastes like chicken. But, it also looks like a chicken. You will be served 4 feet on a plate, with toes and the ankle and part of the scrawny leg, but the nails thankfully don't appear anywhere. Swap sight for taste and you now have a story to tell your friends.
If you are not too keen on ugly food, you could give the Jelly Fish Strips in sour spicy sauce a try. The texture is unique but I would definitely put it in the 'yummy food' category.
When you love trying new food, you do end up with some bad choices and mine was the Crispy Deep Fried Milk for dessert. So my advice is to avoid that one and explore the menu that has a number of interesting (and conventional) choices.
