This bazaar is well-worth going to
Do you love bazaars? Some of them are great fun and have some bargains and unusual products which the public love to see and find out about. WA's best Christmas market takes over FAC for a three-day shopping extravaganza with more than 50 local artisans who make up the whole wonderful variety of wares.
At Bazaar, you'll find unique WA-designed jewellery, fashion, ceramics, sculpture, woodwork, textiles and more. The annual market goes right from Friday night until Sunday afternoon and is the perfect place to find a gift for this Christmas.
Many people get together to help sort out these bazaars as they require quite a lot of work to organise them. You need to get items to sell, work out all the food that will be needed, get volunteers to help on the day, and so the items go on and on!
Bazaars come with all manner of things for the public to buy and they will mostly find gifts that they had not even thought about yet. Some of these, in fact, a great deal of them, will be one-off gifts only, and made by one person once but not more! A great idea for a present for a bestie!
At this bazaar, there will be a lot of handmade, locally designed products for sale. We are sure to be spoilt for choice when Bazaar returns to FAC's Front Garden this December.
Of course, with Christmas just around the corner, it's a great time of year for any show to start off and sell their handmade goods and to show their help for local WA makers. They will also find that they will have some good designs and quality gifts that they will have only made, as mentioned one only.
This year it will be the 40th year that Bazaar will be on with the Christmas fairs and events in Fremantle. This function is known for having just the finest and best local products. There will be more than 50 stalls, and there will be jewellery, clothing, ceramics, woodwork, textiles, sculpture, art and much more to be found here.
The event will happen under the large trees and shopping is such a special experience for many people. The Bazaar, as mentioned, will actually open on the Friday night, so you will be able to hear the music, have a bite to eat and there will be a bar that is open under the clear skies!
Bazaar will then continue all day Saturday and Sunday from 9.00 am until 5.00 pm on 6th, 7th and 8th December and cost for entry is $2 per adult. Children under 12 years old are free. This event will be held at Fremantle Arts Centre, 1 Finnerty Street, Fremantle.
